
Consulting requires building a raport, taking the time to become a trusted advisor. We know that trust is earned, never given. That is why we work with cleints to explore all options, not just ones that ensure more work for us.
Our approach is straight forward.
- We work with clients to understand the desired outcome–known as the to-be state. During this phase of the consulting engagement we learn about organizational strategy, where the organization is going, when it wants to get there, and what resources are expected.
- Once the strategy is understood and we have established a shared vision of the to-be state, we shift our focus on the current state of the business–known as the as-is state. We document the as-is state of the business by investigating how things are, why they are that way, existing resources, existing organizational structure, and the constraints.
- Once the as-is state of the business is understood, we perform a gap analysis between the to-be (future) state of the business and the as-is (present) state of the business. During the gap analysis we identify possible ways to close the gap. Working with the client’s key people, the possible solutions are evaluated and ranked.
- Once the possible solutions are ranked, the findings along with the recommendations are presented to the stakeholders for consideration and action.
